Limelight Theatre Inc

Established in 1992, The Limelight Theatre is the only theatre located in St.

Augustine with its own building and year-round programming. In addition to

presenting nine mainstage productions each season, Limelight offers classes and

training for all ages, and special events produced by the St. Augustine Film Festival

and The St. Augustine Amphitheatre. Limelight aims to be a nationally acclaimed

theatre recognized for artistic innovation and excellence. Limelight has cultivated a

diverse, multigenerational community of artists and supporters through intriguing

storytelling and conservatory training. Our programming educates, engages, and

showcases the importance of the arts and its contributions to society.

This year, the Limelight Theatre stage comes alive with stories that celebrate the heart

of the human spirit. From timeless classics to fresh favorites, each production in our

“Season of Faith” invites us to believe—in each other, in love, in redemption, and in

the power of community. Whether it’s the divine hilarity of Nunsense, the poignant

reflections of Our Town, or the enduring hope of Annie, every story offers a reason

to keep believing. You’ll travel from the streets of NYC to the Austrian Alps, from

a Caribbean island to the smallest towns in America, meeting characters who find

courage in connection and strength in song. Some discover faith in God, others in

family, and still others in the enduring magic of music and love. Together, these nine

shows remind us that even in life’s messiest, funniest, and most unexpected moments,

there’s always something worth believing in.

workshops, day camps, and summer intensives, Limelight provides a creative outlet for
