Giving Day 2026

Our mission is to see postgraduates and researchers in Oxford come to know Christ, grow in their faith and be sent out around the world to serve as wise, humble and courageous Christian thinkers and leaders at the highest levels in the academy, government, business and beyond.

Just 10 days ago we hosted an historic event at the University of Oxford's Natural History Museum with Dr Francis Collins and N T Wright speaking to the harmony they had found in exploring science and Christian faith. The lecture theatre was packed with 300 students and researchers including many non-Christians invited by friends and colleagues. We have heard stories of non-Christians asking each other about their belief in God in the queue waiting for the event; Christian students taking groups of non-Christians to the pub afterwards to stay late into the evening discussing faith in God; atheists asking to come back to hear more at our follow up events; and many more Christian students and academics being built up and encouraged, understanding afresh the depth and intellectual credibility of their faith. This is just the first in an incredible line up of missional events this year which will include Tom Holland, N T Wright and Molly Worthen discussing the resurrection at the Sheldonian in November.

Today we want to raise $5000 towards the employment of a new Outreach Chaplain who can help us follow up on these incredible events and reach every postgrad and researcher at Oxford who wants to know more about Christian faith.
