Home Again St. Johns' mission is to coordinate the delivery of vital services at a center dedicated to restoring St. Johns County’s homeless to self-sufficiency. 

Home Again St. Johns operates a Drop-In Center, Dining With Dignity, the Hope for All program, Veterans Village, the Ellen Walden United Service Center, and eight apartments. The center offers vital services to homeless individuals and families living in the woods, in cars, and on the streets.

Veterans Village is currently housing 17 veterans, three spouses, and one teenager. Our United Service Center is housing eight people, two of whom are veterans. 

Home Again St. Johns has been awarded a $100,000 1:1 matching grant by an anonymous donor. Your donations will be matched dollar for dollar!

$100 Pledge: Will be doubled to $200 for a ‘Welcome Home’ kit.

$250 Pledge: Will be doubled to $500 for supportive services for a month.

$500 Pledge: Will be doubled to $1,000 for critical facility maintenance and upgrades.

$1,000 Pledge: Will be doubled to $2,000 for naming opportunities.

Other amounts are welcome, and each dollar of your custom pledge will be doubled.

We offer Case Management; assistance with applications for state or federal benefits such as food stamps, SSI, SSDI, Medicaid, unemployment, and resource and referral services; and assistance with employment-related needs such as job search, resume assistance, etc. We also operate a "Comfort Station " for the homeless, which falls under our "Hope for All" program. 

Home Again St Johns also operates Dining with Dignity, a meal program that operates 365 days a year and coordinates the efforts of upwards of 40 faith-based and community groups. Each group takes full responsibility for procuring, preparing, and serving a nutritious meal nightly throughout the month, all year long. Last year, we provided upwards of 58,000 meals to our homeless and at-risk individuals and families.

We continue to partner with all agencies to improve efficiency, reduce duplication, and "fill in" the identified gaps. We are also working to reduce the costs incurred by local healthcare, law enforcement, and government, thereby reducing the economic impact on the community.
