Beat the Heat

At Epic-Cure, everything we do is powered by people—our volunteers, our partners, and the families we serve. Every week, in our Palatka warehouse, hundreds of thousands of pounds of rescued food are sorted, packed, and distributed to neighbors who need it most.

But as we head into the summer months, we’re facing a serious challenge.

Our Palatka facility is a metal building. Without insulation or air conditioning, it absorbs heat all day long and radiates it back inside—creating extremely high temperatures that make long volunteer shifts not just uncomfortable, but potentially unsafe.

So this Giving Day, we’re asking for your help make our volunteer work life better.

Our Goal: $65,000 To install spray foam insulation in the roof and interior walls of our Palatka warehouse.

This project will:

·        Dramatically reduce indoor temperatures

·        Improve working conditions for our volunteers

·        Protect the health and safety of everyone in the building

·        Help us continue serving our community efficiently, even in the peak of summer
