PRM is uniquely positioned to address financial instability in urban core communities. Our approach is holistic, evidence-based, and asset-based. Rather than relying on paternalistic "handout" models that may foster dependency and diminish dignity, PRM employs methodologies rooted in the "Helping Without Hurting" framework from the Chalmers Center and Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD). These models prioritize empowering individuals and communities by leveraging existing strengths and resources.

We utilize nationally recognized curricula from both the Chalmers Center and Compass Financial Ministries. This partnership ensures that our Resident Partners receive high-quality, effective training designed to support their journey toward financial stability and long-term wealth creation.
