Growing Together Behavioral Center

Growing Together Behavioral Center serves children, teens and young adults with autism and other developmental disabilities. Our staff consists of ABA Teachers, BCBA Behaviorists and Registered Behavior Technicians - all working collaboratively to tailor programs for each student - with a focus on the individual and his or her strengths and talents - so that each becomes the best version of themselves.

Growing Together Behavioral Center’s Expanding Access Initiative is a capacity building initiative designed to increase equitable access to specialized autism specific education and therapies. Through this program, GTBC will expand instructional space, increase the number of classrooms and add essential educational resources to serve more children, teens and young adults with autism.

Nationwide, one in 31 children are diagnosed with autism.  In Florida, we have one of the highest autism prevalence rates in the U.S.  The need for services is at a critical level.

Our programs include specialized therapies tailored for each individual – to include speech therapy, music therapy, applied behavioral therapies, and compassionate behavioral intervention and support.  In addition, we offer family support to our parents and families, providing training, guidance and resources to them as they learn to navigate life with a special needs child.

This initiative will allow the center to enroll additional students annually, shorten wait times, and ensure that children from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds have access to high quality evidence-based education.  This initiative directly advances educational equity while strengthening long-term outcomes for students with autism and their families.

This initiative prioritizes reducing barriers faced by families who lack access to appropriate educational placement due to limited availability, financial constraints, or geographic challenges. By increasing enrollment capacity, the center can provide more children with individualized instruction, small class sizes, and integrated behavioral therapeutic supports in a structured, supportive learning environment.

At GTBC, we believe each child can reach their fullest potential given the right support and inclusion. We focus on their abilities, and we give them a place where they are welcome, cared for, and celebrated. Our programs are full or compassion and rich in results.

Every day, we see progress in children who were previously nonverbal learning to communicate their needs effectively, or children who exhibited self-injurious behaviors learning coping mechanisms to identify their emotions and express them, reducing frustration and easing the feeling of being misunderstood.

We seek to reach more children, teens and young adults in need of these vital services, bringing relief to families searching for vital autism resources for their children.
