Imago Dei Neighborhood School

At Imago Dei Neighborhood School, we believe every child is made in the image of God. Founded in 2021 with 34 students, Imago Dei offers a holistic education that is financially accessible to families across the Richmond area. This year, Imago Dei serves 134 students in PreK-7th grade and plans to add four new classrooms next year.

FOUR NEW CLASSROOMS!

Due to high enrollment interest, additional sections of three elementary classrooms, as well as 8th grade will be added for the 2026/27 school year. Giving Day generosity will directly fund the purchase of chairs, desks, curriculum, classroom supplies, and needed updates that make it possible to serve more students.

GENEROSITY FUELS ACCESS

Imago Dei offers a vibrant, rigorous, and holistic Christian education to families of all ethnicities and income levels in Richmond. Tuition is variable, making it possible for families from a wide variety of backgrounds to choose an imago dei education. This year, 61% of families are low to low-middle income, 27% are middle income, and 12% are high income. We firmly believe in lowering barriers to diverse, Christ-centered, liberal arts education for all interested families!

Community giving closes the gap between funds collected through tuition and the operating costs of the school; this year, 67% of the operating budget is covered by philanthropy.
